Higher order linear connections from first order ones

Abstract. We describe how find all ${\mathcal M} f_m$-natural operators $D$ transforming torsion free classical linear connections $\nabla$ on $m$-manifolds $M$ into $r$-th order linear connections $D(\nabla)$ on $M$.
