Article Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in English.

The front-matter should include the title of the article, author's name, affiliation, e-mail, web page address and postal address. A running head of less than sixty characters should also be given.  You should also include Mathematics Subject Classification codes (MSC2000) as well as a  list of keywords.

The manuscript must be accompanied by a brief abstract no longer than two hundred words. The use of mathematical symbols and displayed formulae must be kept to a minimum.   References to theorems, equations etc. must not appear in the abstract.  Bibliographic references, if vital, should be written in full.

All figures and tables must be centred and labeled.  The position of figures should be clearly indicated in the manuscript and attached in a form suitable for direct reproduction.   Preference is given to figures produced in EPS or PDF format.  Bitmap formats may be acceptable (in this case we would prefer JPG or PNG)  if their resolution does not preclude high quality print reproduction.

All equations, theorems, tables, figures should be referenced as in "Refer to Figure 3.2", or ".. this concludes the proof of Theorem  3.1".  Bibliographic references should be numbered and listed alphabetically at the end of the article. Authors are advised to consult Mathematical Reviews for the standard abbreviations of journal names

Like other journals, JIPAM has its own style for numbering of theorems, etc. which, it is assumed,  that authors will accept once they submit their papers to this journal.

Click here to download a sample article.  You will need AMSLaTeX and the LaTeX graphics package to compile the TeX source code.  DVI, postscript (PS) and PDF versions of the paper are also included.  Refer to this sample for examples of our required formats.

Submission should also be accompanied by a signed "Transfer of Copyright" form. The transfer of copyright will come into affect upon acceptance of the manuscript. Visit the copyright page for more details.
