Postal 467, 19060-900 Presidente Prudente - SP -- BRASIL Abstract: This paper gives conditions to determine the number of control sets on compact homogeneous spaces of a Lie group $G$. We use a Levi decomposition of $G$ to reduce the problem to homogeneous spaces of semi-simple Lie groups and, in particular, to generalized flag manifolds.
