Instructions for Authors

The manuscripts should be written in English or in French with an abstract in English.

Papers should be submitted by e-mail to one of the editors (preferably to the member of the editorial board closest to the author field) with a carbon copy (CC) for math@utgjiu.ro.
For the convenience of authors, a guide to the areas considered by the individual editors is given here.

The e-mail message should contain the name(s) of the author(s), the title of the paper, the abstract of the paper, keywords, and Mathematical Subject Classifications 2010. Also the .tex and .pdf versions of the full paper should be attached to the e-mail message.

'This journal does not charge APCs or submission charges.

The papers should be prepared in LaTeX according to the Surveys in Mathematics and its Applications style. Here is a template-.tex file (sample paper) and here is the corresponding .pdf file.
Please use cross-references to sections, subsections, equations, figures, theorems, propositions, enumerated items, etc. The commands to be used are:
\label{marker} (to give the object you want to refer a marker)
and
\ref{marker} (to refer the object you have marked before) or \pageref{marker} (to refer the page of the object you have marked before).
For marks that do not correspond to any situation \label would be used the \hypertarget{name}{text} marker can be used. The command \hyperlink{name}{text} creates an internal link to an object which is somewhere defined with a \hypertarget command. To insert links pointing outside the document the command \href{url}{description} can be used.
Each reference should be coded as \bibitem{cite_key} and placed inside a \begin{thebibliography} ... \end{thebibliography}. To cite a given document (article, book, etc.) please use the command \cite{cite_key}, where the cite_key is that of the bibitem you wish to cite. Also please add to each reference the reviewing numbers on both MathSciNet (MR) and Zentralblatt (Zbl).

Peer review Process: The papers are refereed in the traditional manner (with external anonymous referees): The handling editor first evaluates the manuscript to determine if it suits the scope of the journal. If so, referees/reviewers are invited by email and asked to accept or decline to review the manuscript. The reports of referees/reviewers are sent by the editor to the corresponding author. The authors will have the opportunity to respond to referees’/reviewers’ comments: making the suggested corrections, clarifying various aspects or explaining why they disagree. For a major revision, original referees/reviews will be invited to review the manuscript again, and make a recommendation. The handling editor decides to accept or reject the manuscript on the base of referees’/reviewers’ reports.

Accepted papers will be published after the authors sign and return the copyright agreement and send the LaTeX file of the article according to the Surveys in Mathematics and its Applications style.

Authors will have the opportunity to make final corrections before publication.
Once the paper is published, corrections may be made to the paper by submitting a traditional erratum or corrigendum article.. The errata article will appear in a future volume and will link back and forth on the web to the original paper online.

Please read Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement.
