Abstract

We are concerned with the existence and uniqueness of a positive and nondecreasing solution for the following nonlinear fractional m-point boundary value problem: 𝐷 𝛼 0 + βˆ‘ 𝑒 ( 𝑑 ) + 𝑓 ( 𝑑 , 𝑒 ( 𝑑 ) ) = 0 , 0 < 𝑑 < 1 , 2 < 𝛼 ≀ 3 , 𝑒 ( 0 ) = 𝑒 β€² ( 0 ) = 0 , 𝑒 β€² ( 1 ) = π‘š βˆ’ 2 𝑖 = 1 π‘Ž 𝑖 𝑒 β€² ( πœ‰ 𝑖 ) , where 𝐷 𝛼 0 + denotes the standard Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative, 𝑓 ∢ [ 0 , 1 ] Γ— [ 0 , ∞ ) β†’ [ 0 , ∞ ) is a continuous function, π‘Ž 𝑖 β‰₯ 0 for 𝑖 = 1 , 2 , … , π‘š βˆ’ 2 , and 0 < πœ‰ 1 < πœ‰ 2 < β‹― < πœ‰ π‘š βˆ’ 2 < 1 . Our analysis relies on a fixed point theorem in partially ordered sets. Some examples are also presented to illustrate the main results.
