Abstract

An epidemic model with incomplete treatment and vaccination for the newborns and susceptibles is constructed. We establish that the global dynamics are completely determined by the basic reproduction number R0. If R01, then the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. If R0>1, the endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. Some numerical simulations are also given to explain our conclusions.
