Abstract
A complex sequence (an) is called a good weight
for the mean ergodic theorem (briefly good weight) if
for every contraction on a Hilbert space, mean ergodic theorem with weight
(an) holds. Let G be a locally compact group and let μ
be a power bounded regular Borel measure on G. We study vague-ergodicity
of the measure μ with good weight (an). Some related problems
are also discussed.
