THE SUM OF THE UNITARY DIVISOR FUNCTIONTim TrudgianMathematical Sciences Institute, The Australian National University, Canberra, AustraliaAbstract: We establish a new upper bound on the function $\sigma^*(n)$, the sum of all coprime divisors of $n$. The main result is that $\sigma^*(n)\leq 1.3007 n\log\log n$ for all $n\geq 570 571$.
